“Bridge” between Government and Enterprises

    Draft development programs for foundry industry on behalf of government administrations, such as“Essentials of the 8th Five Year Plan (1991-1995)”and “Essentials of the 9th Five Year Plan(1996-2000) and outlook towards 2010” of Chinese foundry industry to the government proposals regarding policies or laws relating to the development of the foundry industry. Defend the legal interests of member foundries and voice their demands.

    Owing to a very lean profit margin prevailing in the Chinese foundry industry, many foundries are faced with running out of their business. The Association timely mirrored the situation of the Industry for the attention of the government. Encouraging response came from relevant minis- tries and favorable policies ensued. Those foundries enjoying the policies increased their output, upgraded their casting quality, promoted their sales volume and boosted the paid taxes. As a result, both the State and the industry benefited.
