Ever since the year 1989, China Foundry Association has calculated the production of metal castings in our country every year and announced to the whole world through MODERN CASTING published by American Foundry Society, with the strong support of related offices and local associations/academies.

We¡¯d like to point out that the data listed in 38th world metal castings production statistics that is issued on the 12th American MODERN CASTING in 2004 is not consistent with what our association has reported, and the reason is not clear now. We has sent them a letter and asked for correction.
Our association has decided that we will issue the ¡°China metal castings annual production report¡± of last year in every October.
