From July 20 to 28, 2026, China Foundry Association organized a delegation of related enterprises to visit Brazil for an on-site industrial inspection and exchange. During the visit, the delegation attended the FENAF 2026 Foundry Exhibition and visited three leading foundry companies—DELUMA, IMSC, and TUPY—engaging in multi-level technical exchanges and trade matchmaking with relevant industry organizations and enterprises.

FENAF 2026 gathered exhibitors from 43 countries, attracting approximately 12,000 visitors. Among the exhibitors, about 65% were domestic Brazilian companies, while 35% were international firms, including 27 exhibitors from China. This year's CONAF (ABIFA Casting Conference) was themed "Future Competitiveness of the Brazilian Casting Industry," focusing on productivity, innovation, sustainability, technological transformation, and industrial competitiveness. During discussions with the Brazilian Casting Association, it was noted that Brazil possesses abundant iron ore resources and strong capabilities in exporting raw materials such as scrap steel to China. Currently, China has a high demand for such materials, presenting new opportunities for Brazil. At present, the Brazilian casting industry faces a trade imbalance with China, characterized by "more imported equipment than exported finished products." By enhancing raw material exports and improving local manufacturers' understanding of Chinese market demands, this structural imbalance can be gradually addressed.
